The Stansted Express offers the fastest way from Central London to London Stansted Airport; it is owned by Greater Anglia, which operates the East Anglia franchise. There are 40 passenger trains in total, which reach top speeds of 100mph. The journey time is 47 to 56 minutes from London to Stansted Airport, and the train times are every 15 minutes. There is no journey on the London Underground to Stansted Airport. Still, you can easily take an additional journey on the London Underground on routes such as the Victoria Line or Circle Line and catch the Stansted Express to the Airport. As such, it is easy to journey to the Airport wherever your London accommodation might be. Journey times from Tottenham Hale are slightly shorter at around 35 minutes.

The Stansted Express Train Station is situated under the passenger terminal building at Stansted Airport, making it easy to catch your flight. Simply descend from arrivals, and you will reach the platforms. Platforms 1 to 3 at Stansted Airport are used for Stansted Express services with departure from Liverpool Street and for services with departure from Norwich. Platform 2 at London Stansted Airport is slightly shorter and used for CrossCountry services from Birmingham New Street.
