Heathrow to London Train Tickets

If you are flying to the UK, it is quite likely that you might arrive at Heathrow Airport. Heathrow is the busiest airport in the UK, with 61.6 million passengers travelling through it in 2022.

It is very easy to get from Heathrow Airport to London with regular services operated by Heathrow Express to London Paddington Station from Heathrow Central Train Station, also known as Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 Train Station, which can be reached in a short walk via an underground walkway linking Terminal 3 to the Central Bus Station and the London Underground Station.

There are four Heathrow Express trains per hour from Heathrow Central running to London Paddington, so passengers do not have long to wait at the train station, once you arrive from whichever Heathrow terminal you land at. As well as taking a Heathrow Express train, you also have the option to travel into London on the tube with six trains per hour running into London with the option to depart at London Paddington, Bond Street, Liverpool Street, or multiple other stations. If your flight is landing at Terminal 4 or Terminal 5 instead of Terminal 2 or 3, you can also take the underground from there.

Heathrow Express

Four Heathrow Express services per hour run to London from Heathrow per hour. As well as booking tickets before you travel, Oyster Cards and contactless cards are also accepted on this service. You can choose between Express Class and Business First Class, with both offering plenty of luggage space and complimentary newspapers and Business First Class offering extra legroom and Fast Track Airport Security.

Elizabeth Line

You can also travel on the tube to reach London; this is particularly handy if you are landing at Terminal 5 or 4, as they have underground stations. If you need to reach London King's Cross to continue your journey to your destination by train, you can take the Circle or Hammersmith & City lines from London Paddington.
